NEWSEC ENTERING NEXT PHASE TO FURTHER STRENGTHEN ITS POSITION IN THE BALTICS

Newsec Baltic enters a new phase to further strengthen its position as the leading property advisor and manager in the Baltics. This means that a recruitment process begins to find a new MD, and that more employees will be offered to become partners. The current head, Ricardas Cepas, will remain with the company in an advisory role until a number of ongoing major customer projects are delivered.

“The property market in the Baltic region has, like the rest of Europe, developed in a very positive way in recent years. We have a leading position but also an opportunity to become even stronger in the entire region. Being an attractive and dynamic workplace is an important part of our ambition to continuously create value for our customers while enhancing Newsec as The Full Service Property House in Northern Europe”, says Henrik Granström, Chairman Newsec Baltics.

Ugnius Meidus, has been appointed acting MD until a new permanent MD is recruited. The operational service offering is led by Neringa Rastenyte-Janciuniene (Capital Markets), Mindaugas Kulbokas (Research & Analysis), Ugnius Meidus (Valuations), Giedrius Ragaisis (Brokerage&Leasing), Rida Kalvaitiene and Irmantas Degutis (Asset&Property Management).

“The last decade we have gone from four employees in Vilnius to 60 in the Baltic region with good profitability. The company today is responsible for about 1/3 of all real estate transactions in Baltic States and manages 500,000 m2 premises, therefore, it’s time to give the floor to a new management”, says Ricardas Cepas.

Newsec is the largest full service commercial property house in Northern Europe and Baltic countries. Newsec covers all parts of the commercial property market and provides services to both real estate investors and owners as well as users of properties. The company has over 600 professionals in 20 offices with over 60 employees in 4 offices in Baltic countries.
